My city-state would be located on the planet Aris and be located on the island of Conith. Most of my city-state would be a bumpy, rough surface with about 5 large mountain ranges. The most popular range, which gave the city-state the name, is The Chase Mountains. My citizens will have to adapt to the rough surfaces, and if they do that, they could live a good life on the island. Importantly, they need to have boats or life there would be near impossible. Chaseopolis takes up a lot of the island of Conith and has a territory that looks like a face. And there is a baguette-like island that belongs to Chaseopolis.

Government

My city-state’s government would be a direct Democracy. It would treat most people equally but some may not.If you want to vote, you need to complete some things. In order to vote, you must complete these tasks.

1. Be a citizen of Chaseopolis
2. Must be 17 years or above
   
3. Must have lived in Chaseopolis for at least 6 weeks
   
4. Most important, HAVE AN ID
   

Once you do these four things and are able to vote, you will now have most of the important things in the government. But to be the leader of Chaseopolis, you must be:

• At least 30 years old
  
• Be in at least 2nd to last part of social hierarchy
  
• Know me
  
• And be able to vote
  
• You NEED an ID now
  

Once you become the leader, you have all of the important roles in this government.

Social Hierarchy

In Chaseopolis’ social hierarchy, not everything is organized but some stuff may surprise. I am on the top because I created this. Then the leaders of my Democracy are below me. Next, average citizens, workers, and close friends get a decent spot on the Power Pyramid (what the people of Chaseopolis call it). Peasants and richer farmers take up a good chunk of the population. Finally, the surprise comes in as slave owners have as much power that slaves do. People of Chaseopolis do not like slave owners. Therefore, that’s why they are so low. Nomads are also on the bottom because, well, they’re nomads. I would become important in society because of fame. No, I don’t want the money, I just want fame.

Commerce

My city will make money from farming, and trading. In Chaseopolis, we have a lot of bronze, copper, sliver, and gold. We also have some diamonds but they aren’t as common. Our farmers provide most of our food and some get sold for money to buy basic necessities.We trade our silver, bronze, copper, and gold for money. Our fellow people from Conith have a lot of great stuff that we trade for.

We are a really put-together city-state that has a lot of good stuff to trade for. We make most of our money from our goods and farmingDaily Life

Our daily life is really unique from other city-states around us. We don’t have a meeting place, but we have a market. Our market is kind of a hang-out place. People from foreign city-states come to the market to buy stuff. But, they must be inspected by a metal detector, so we know they aren’t spying or something like that. We usually get along but sometimes we don’t. People from the island of June are not friendly. So we don’t allow them to come. People also gather around on Tuesdays at the market for sales of products . Fridays are probably their favorite day. They get special market items, and ore and good sales. Daily life in Chaseopolis is really complete.

Culture

Chaseopolis has a really unique culture. On Mondays nothing special goes on, but on Tuesdays most people go to mass. So people wear church clothes. Same deal for Thursday but they wear blue and white. On Friday, people wear anything they want but it has to be reasonable. Some special holidays include,

Our culture is a little bit different than most but is still unique. We also celebrate the 4th of every month because four is a lucky number in Chaseopolis. The same for 16. Every five years, something wacky happens. The Soon (Aris’ version of the moon) turns the color of the rainbow. Everyone wears special glasses, and they get to see a nighttime rainbow. Anyway, we speak English and Chete (Made up language). We are 96% Catholic and we don’t have national flowers (We think that stuff is bonkers).
